A misunderstanding

Zack was standing out on the deck, dressed in his swim trunks with no shirt on, leaning against the railing looking out to the lake when he felt someone sidle up to his side. He looked over and was surprised to see Vicky standing there. “You’re going swimming I see.” It was not a question, more like a statement.

“Yeah, Heather and I are going exploring.” He told the beautiful green-eyed blonde-haired woman. She looked at him disapprovingly with those green eyes, which Zack had enough experience to know not to look straight into.

“Well, take this, it’s better to be safe than sorry.” She said as she placed something small in his hand and walked away. He watched her walk away before looking down into his hand and seeing an individually packed condom in his hand. He almost felt like running after her and telling her that she had misunderstood what was happening. She was one of the purest minded people in their little group, and if she thought he was fucking Heather on their little trips, than what did the others think? Zack had always thought Chloe to be the most innocent among his friends, until one day when he was fucking Lisa for the first and only time in his backyard and saw Chloe staring at them from her room window. Zack and Chloe had been neighbors for years, but Zack never anticipated this kind of issue, as they grew older. Thankfully, the incident had not affected their friendship, in fact, it had never been addressed between them before, and that may be a good thing Zack thought wryly. Just then, Heather stepped out in another hot two-piece bikini making Zack look away.

“Are you ready?” Heather said, and Zack could hear the smile in her voice. He discreetly placed the condom in his swimming trunk pocket, looked at her, and took her in, in all her glory.

“Yeah, let’s go.” He said while looking her directly in the eye, he could tell she was impressed that his eyes weren’t all over her body, when in reality, he was trying to maintain his eye contact for as long as possible without taking a glance at her bountiful cleavage or her magnificent hips. Wait a sec, he thought, how did Vicky get a condom in the first place? He thought looking back at the cabin as they walked down towards the water.
