Chapter 253 by voidcaller17 voidcaller17

Now What?

More Knowledge!

My science and study periods go by without incident. My science class just had us study and review for the Midterm. Afterward, I go to the bathroom and enter my Domain. I find Ramia and Asami waiting for me.

"Master, is it time?" Asami asks and I nod.

"Are you ready Ramia? And sorry, but I don't know why the guilds want to see you." I say and she smiles.

"It's f-fine. I'm ready." She says. She's wearing a nice shirt and jeans. I can tell she's trying to be formal, but not too much. However, it looks really good on her. The jeans hug her ass tightly and the shirt looks like it's about to burst from holding her chest.

"Ramia, do you want to walk or are you comfortable riding my Motorcycle?" I ask her.

"We c-can ride." She replies and Asami hands me some papers.

"Master, these are for the office building we looked at. You'll need to fill these out, but I can take it from there. It'll only be two or three business days after that until we get the building." Asami says excitedly and I pet her.

"Thanks, I'll get it done asap." I tell her before turning to Ramia. "Ready?" I ask reaching out and she nods before taking my hand. I enter my apartment and we leave. On my way out I run into my gramps.

"Good, I was hoping I'd catch you." He says.

"Why?" I ask suspiciously making him laugh.

"We're both going to the guild hall, so I wanted to offer you a ride." He says and I turn to Ramia.

"It's up to you." I say and she smiles.

"I'd l-like to ride t-the bike with y-you." She says a little embarrassed and I smile.

"Of course. We'll just follow you. But why are you going?" I ask my gramps and he smiles.

"It's a secret. Now come on!" He says and we leave. I take my Motorcycle out and we hop on. I feel Ramia hug me tightly and press her chest against me. I smile and enjoy the feeling as I follow my gramps to the guild halls. I park and store the bike away in my inventory. Ramia follows me inside where Myla and Hino are waiting.

"Hey, there mister." Myla says and I smile.

"Howdy." I reply, a little awkwardly. She still smiles all the same. The two of them lead us down to another meeting room. This one is bigger than the others I've been to. Inside is Kallen, Sugano, Kagiyama, Liz, Lander, and two others I don't recognize. They seem distraught and are the first to look at us. One is a man and the other is a woman. They each look normal, aside from the white coats they're wearing. They have various stains on them. They honestly remind me of old-timey mad scientists but more modern, I guess.

"R-Ramia?" The woman croaks out. I see Ramia look at her in disbelief before running to her.

"MOM!?" Ramia shouts out before hugging the woman. The man joins the hug and I turn to my gramps.

"Did you know about this?" I ask and he smiles before shrugging.

"W-why are you here? What a-about the pact?" I hear Ramia ask her parents.

"We've entered a new one. But it doesn't matter now." The man says and I see Lander walk over to me. I haven't moved from the doorway, not wanting to interrupt them.

"Thank you for saving Ramia. She's like a niece to me. And get ready, her parents are too nice for their own good." Lander says, slightly bowing. Before I can respond my gramps steps forward.

"No offense, but are you a real Elf?" He asks, his voice full of shock.

"I am, yes. Am I the first you've seen?" Lander asks and my gramps shakes his head no.

"No, I've met plenty, even a few Elders. But I've never met or heard of an Elf who would thank a human, much less bow." He replies making Lander chuckle.

"I'm a bit of an oddity for my race." He says making my gramps laugh. I suddenly feel someone pulling my arm and turn to look. I see the man, who I'm assuming is Ramia's father, holding my hand. He starts thanking me and the woman joins in. Ramia manages to get them to stop and introduces us.

"Mom, dad, this is Eric. He's been letting me stay in his Domain. Eric, this is my mom and dad." Ramia says and I nod.

"It's nice to meet you." I say and they each shake my hand again while introducing themselves.

"My name is Anna, thank you again for rescuing my daughter." The woman says.

"Mine's Harry. Like my wife said, thank you for helping Ramia out." The man says and I nod. Kallen walks up to us.

"Eric, how'd you find Ramia?" He asks.

"I found her in a Goblin Dungeon." I answer.

"How'd you get to the border?" Lander asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask confused.

"The Goblin Dungeon where Ramia was taken was by the state border. You must've cleared it before it was found. But how'd you get down to the border and back?" Lander explains and I feel my mind crash from confusion. I just stand there for a few moments before I get a message from Prisma.

I cast Visit Prisma almost immediately and appear in the water.

"Sorry to call you so suddenly Eric." Prisma says.

"It's fine, but what is this about?" I ask and he sighs.

"It's about your Create Dungeon skill. I had wanted to talk to you about this sooner. But I didn't know how to bring it up. So, as you know the natural mana in the air helps you. It gives you quests, achievements, and so on. But it does much more as well. Every time you cast Create Dungeon it doesn't create a new one. It finds an undiscovered one that fits the zone around you. As in if you cast it in the mountains it'll find one from the mountains. But all these Dungeons already existed but were never discovered by any guilds. That's why you were able to save Ramia who was at your state's border." Prisma explains and I nod.

"Okay, that's... something. Wait, what about the three I made back at the hobo camp? I have them stored away with my skill. Where are they?" I ask.

"They technically don't exist right now. When you cast the spell to store them like that, they disappeared from the earth. It's like they've been paused, so to say. When you enter it the monsters inside will continue like normal. That way they stay at the same level."

"Okay, Prisma I wanted to ask you this before. But as you said, I didn't know how to bring this up. So I'm just going to be blunt. Why did you create the monsters?" I ask and Prisma waits a few moments before answering.

"Before I answer, what makes you think so?"

"I have a few reasons but mainly, it's their similarities to fantasy ones. I don't think I've seen or heard of any monster that doesn't exist in a normal game or book. That and, after going with Kallen and the others to the Hydras Dungeon. I realized that the Dungeons, and monsters inside, keep the guilds busy. This prevents them from getting too caught up in power struggles. Which of course could lead to guilds waging war on each other." I say and Prisma smiles.

"You are absolutely correct. I did create the monsters shortly after the Lyna wars came to an end. I did model the first few after the fictional ones but the ones after were my originals. Then Lyna began writing books and creating stories of them to sell to normal humans and they became fictional. And I did this to distract them, so the wars wouldn't repeat themselves. However, I did create the elves and beast men beforehand in hopes that they would usher peace. But the Elves were too prideful and the beast man, well you know. They were turned into slaves."

"So, is there anything else?" I ask, wanting to get back and get the impending conversation over with.

"Are you disappointed?" Prisma asks, a little insulted.

"No, I just want to get the impending conversation over with." I say and he laughs.

"Then yes, that's all. Do you have something ready to say or do you need time to think?"

"I'm ready, but I'm not happy about this." I say and he laughs before disappearing. I sigh and leave, going back to my body.

What Will You Say?
