Mme Chouchou And The Model Student

“Simone, will you please come here?” she called.

A few of the students were still standing in the hallway outside the classroom. Among them was Simone, the top student. The model student said goodbye to her friends and hurried to the teacher.

Mme Chouchou turned to Jeannot again. “What do you think of the idea of private tutoring?”

“By you?” His voice was hoarse.

“I think Simone would be even better suited for that. It’s much easier to learn from your peers, isn’t it?

And she’s really good. We’ve often practiced together after class this school year. I’ve taught her everything I know, and she’s a good student. I’d even say she’s a true French language master. The last few hours with her have been, shall we say, extremely satisfying.”

Jeannot blushed even redder.
