Mina finds a mysterious note...

Ugh.

Mina grunted and grumbled a lot, as she made her way down the hall.

She still had a bit of time before lunch ended, which would **** her back into the classroom and halt her investigation for a few hours. Not trusting either the food hall, nor the classrooms, for fear that she'll see someone eating something and lose control of herself once more, Mina chose instead to return to the dorms for a while.

It was a bit of a trek, but she should still have a short half hour left before she needed to get back. It was enough time to recollect herself and work on a way to quell her new piggy tendencies.

She wasn't intending to actually find anything when she got there but, either fortunately or unfortunately, something stuck out to her as new.

On the very same table where she and the girls had ate their breakfast (Mina unknowingly drooled at the memory), a small note had been left. It was standing, partially folded, immediately catching her eyes for whatever reason.

Picking up the suspect piece of paper, Mina remarked how unique it felt in her fingers. It wasn’t your typical notebook paper but seemed soft, delicately woven and seriously old. That didn’t astound her, by any means, but she did consider its alien quality in a normal school setting such as this.

Unfolding it, Mina saw that it had a been written upon. She read:

Mina Ashido will be aware of any changes, until specified otherwise.

Any changes? What could that mean? Mina thought.

'Could this have some connection to all the weird things happening today and how I am the only one able to realise it? It must be. For that to be so, there must be a powerful quirk involved. Not only that but how did they know to place it here unless-

As she inspected the note, a strange train of thought began to tug at Mina’s brain, flitting across her mind before she could stop it:

_'Wow. Okay, I got to admit;_ of all the changes made so far today, this is definitely the only one that I can get behind. Having the ability to know what is wrong with reality has served to be a real boon. Dare I say, this is even better than the original reality, in which I would have been completely unaware of any changes at all. This is, by far, a wonderful improvement and I sure wouldn’t want to change a thing about it. In fact, I really want to thank whoever did this personally.'

Mina’s eyes fluttered and her snout flared, dropping the note instinctively and rearing back in surprise.

That was weird. That stream of inspiration had seemed too... vivid and organised. She never had a thought that felt so... **** upon her.

She was about to dismiss it until...

She realised...

That is was absolutely right.

Today has been a terrifying experience, sure. She hated her new pig quirk and despised the new girl “uniforms.” However, she was more than happy about being able to spot the changes. Ecstatic, even.

If she could find a way to reverse everything else, she’d do so gladly, but this one seemed... worth keeping, now.

Shaking herself calmly, Mina was about to continue on and formulate a plan to solve this mystery. Just before she could, however, she found herself leaning down to pick the mysterious note back up, refolding it and, without anywhere else to store it, placed it down her bikini bottoms, so that it hugged against her hips securely.

She wasn’t sure why but she kind of wanted to keep hold of it, so that she could return it to whoever wrote it at the end of the day.

A feeling of misplaced gratitude danced around in her head.
