Field Name: Mimic

Appearance: In its normal form the mimic is merely an almost gelatinous blob. The outside is transparent and can morph/open however it wants. But mimic’s can change their shape, similar to gel’s, and appear to be any object they wish to be. Only a mimic will also take on the color and texture of the object it is mimicking.

Abilities: The mimic can change itself into a perfect replica of anything they want. So far however we have only seen them mimic large furniture and other inanimate objects. A mimic can then open itself and swallow a full-grown human whole, and hide the human within itself. Mimic’s can also secrete a mucus that both dissolves non-organic substances and causes light infection. Lastly, mimic’s are surprisingly soundproof, preventing their victims from calling for help.

Spawn: As soon as a human is trapped inside a mimic, it will use gel-like tentacles to restrain her. Then it will coat it’s victim in mucus that dissolves any non-organic material. Once the victim is naked it brings out an ovipositor and fucks between 5 to 7 eggs into her. The eggs will take about two weeks to develop. When the new mimics are born they are immediately ready to go out and hunt for new victims.

Behavior: A mimic usually sneaks into a place where it presumes humans females frequent. Then it takes on the shape of any large furniture and waits for a victim. Once a woman gets close enough to a mimic, this towerling will open itself and drag the woman into its body by any means it can. As soon as the mimic has swallowed the woman, it will restrain her with its tentacles while covering her with mucus. The mucus dissolve her clothes after which breeding begins. It is worth noting that if a Mimic already has captured a woman, then it it can be seen slightly shaking from a distance. It won't try to capture any more, as they seem to be too small to contain more then one, but they sometimes roam in groups, so this can be used to avoid them.

After the mimic has successfully impregnated it’s victim it will send a telepathic message to any Gatherer within 500 meters of the mimic. Should a Gatherer pick up that message it will come to the mimic, collect the victim and return her to the tower. Should no gatherer come to pick up the woman, the mimic will drain the woman of her breastsmilk, then feed her milk back to her to keep her fed. If after two week no Gatherer has come to pick up the woman, the mimic will open itself and let its victim birth her children. But as soon as the woman has emptied her womb, the mimic will pull her back inside for a new breeding.

We have yet to find any Mimic Breeding chambers within the Tower.
