Michelle Goes In

"Charlotte, that was a good interview," the assistant said as she led Charlotte, a statuesque blonde woman away from the interview area. "You really knocked it out of the park."

"Yes, I did, didn't I?" Charlotte asked with a smile as they headed for her office. "Have we heard anything new about what happened to that reporter and her cameraman, Erica and Mitch, or whatever they're named."

"Elizabeth and Mike, no, not since they went off the air suddenly," the assistant said. "Mr. Carter wants you to do a special broadcast about it to reassure people."

"Whatever, I'll put on a good show for them at least, but who gives a fuck about some nobody reporter?" Charlotte said as she touched up her make-up. "They're probably fucked anyway."

The assistant sighed and shook her head. She didn't like working for a bitch like Charlotte, but it paid well. She headed back out of the office to let Charlotte rest and headed for the lobby area where the receptionist was talking to a young woman.

"I need to see Charlotte Blake," the young woman said, looking a bit scared.

"Do you have an appointment?"

"No, but it's important, it's about..." The young woman said.

"If you don't have an appointment, Ms. Blake doesn't want to see you," the receptionist said.

"Wait, what is this about?" The assistant said, walking up to the two of them. "What's your name?"

"I'm Michelle..." Michelle said. "And I'm here because... umm... I saw what happened to that reporter. I thought... maybe you all should know."
