This way, you'll be quick, efficient -- it'll be like fighting naked! O-or just, you mean, it'll be like fighting in normal clothes. And they're strong enough to stand up to most attacks! All you need to do is learn to get them in the way of attacks, and get strong enough where they don't get all pushed around.
