Thinking about it you decide to give Maisie a fresh start. You realize if you commanded her to forget everything she knows in life she'd also forget she's cursed. Of course, this would mean her parents would be without their daughter but you doubt they'd be able to trace their loss to you. As far as anyone would know Maisie never showed up and if they didn't believe you they wouldn't likely expose the family's curse.
