Meeting

I adjusted my tunic and walking up to the hill stood waiting under the tree before seeing Sansa in her wolf-skin jacket and stopping a few metres away I queried, “Sansa or Athena?” “Damian, I am not Athena... it’s a long story!” and seeing the animals fly above us she spoke, “I was getting changed and this Owl...it came to me...there it is!” and seeing the Owl land on the branch I spoke, “The Owl of Athena!” I lifted my arm and seeing the bird land on my arm and looking over to her I saw her clutch her head in pain as the lines shone on her face and arms, “Damian: It’s me Athena!” “Athena?” she nodded and kissing her she spoke, “I couldn’t be with you, you know my role and position but I have found the one for you sharing my thoughts, abilities and personality with her and together we will form a new woman...the one you deserve!” I took her hand and shaking my head spoke, “Why Sansa?” “Trust me you will know and I will guide you both along the way!” I looked back seeing the Owl now sit on the fence and looking over to her again spoke, “So you control this vessel?” “Share it for now and eventually I will return leaving my abilities for her to have, as we speak I am changing her genetic coding and blood. It won’t be until she is one of us!” and coughing I saw the lines disappear and the golden eyes grow faint until there was only a small speck of gold in them and looking back then I saw my symbol; the crow sit perched next to the Owl, “What’s wrong Damian?” Sansa wheezed seeing the birds and nodding I spoke, “We have a lot to discuss; eventually the birds will become one!” “Why and when?” “When two lovers are finally joined, they will be unified under one. Come like I said we have lot to discuss!” and taking her arm started to walk back.
