Mearna’s baby is born

The next month is one of the hardest when it comes to my pregnancy. This baby is becoming so heavy that it becomes nearly impossible to do any cleaning in the house. I can also no longer help my dad with the beehives. I guess that’ll be for after the baby. He tells me it’s alright but I still feel bad making him do it all alone now. Fortunately, Kaileigh shows up every now and again. She helps me with cleaning and sometime even cooks food for us when I am too exhausted. She is a really great friend. I am so happy to have her around.

When Kaileigh is around, we also do another threesome from time to time. Zayden even crafts us a wooden dildo so Kaileigh and I could have an easier time pleasuring each other. Eventually, the day comes that I go into labor. I hope it’s a boy. I don’t want to have a daughter who inherits my looks. Better a son who looks like his father. But I was unlucky here. I had a daughter. She does seem to have the eyes of Zayden’s sister, though. I hope that’s going to be true. Cerridwen is so much prettier than I am, so I want little Sheila to take after her aunt.

I would have assumed for Kaileigh to stop visiting now with the baby around. But strangely, she started showing up even more. She prepares food for us, does some cleaning and after I’m done nursing my little Sheila, Kaileigh picks her up and walks with her until she falls asleep. It is almost like Kaileigh is some kind of second mother to my little girl and it is really taking a lot of strain off of me.

All of Kaileigh’s visits do cause for some rumors to start spreading around town. Even my parents came over to ask me about them. Supposedly, people are thinking that Zayden is some tyrant who mistreats me and is enjoying Kaileigh as his mistress in front of me. I don’t want Kaileigh or Zayden to get into trouble, so I tell my parents that Kaileigh is just a good friend. I could not imagine telling my father that I have been engaging in threesomes with them, oh gosh. I feel it would be best if I just keep that to myself forever.

Another 2 months go by. Months where neither Zayden nor Kaileigh are even bothering to have sex. I guess having a baby around just makes us all so invested in the baby that we just forget about the whole sex thing. I do hope this is not going to last forever. I am to young to never have sex again.

About a month before the next Samhain, though, I notice Kaileigh crying. I try to comfort her by asking her what’s wrong. I didn’t expect what she had to say.

“It’s nearly time for another Samhain.” She says. “I will be mandated to participate, because I’m not married. But what for, really? I mean, what are my options? Gavin’s kids, Logan, Duncan and Dunley are all assholes. Those guys would just treat a woman like me like a sex toy. I don’t want to get impregnated by any of them. Kenric and Trahern are so old. Both of them could be my dad. Merlan will no longer be participating, since he has gotten married now. Same goes for his brother, Kynan. All the good men are already out and the only ones left are people I’d rather have nothing to do with.”

“Well … well I’m sure there are some good ones still around.” I try to cheer her up. “Take Kinkade for example. He’s a good friend of yours, right? He works on your father’s ranch, and he is nice.”

“No offense to Kinkade, but he is kind of stupid.” Kaileigh replies as she wipes some tears away. “Also, he is my mom’s boy-toy.”

Kaileigh then tells me everything about how since her father got his accident, he could no longer have sex and so he and his wife made an agreement where Conwenna could have sex with Kinkade, as long as she remains emotionally attached to Kaenan. That is actually kind of interesting. It is like Kaenan gave his wife a somewhat similar offer that I gave to Zayden, but I suggested it before I ever knew about what Kaileigh’s parents were doing. But yeah, she already has to share Zayden with me, it would be horrible if she now also has to share Kinkade with her mother.

“There just aren’t any guys left for me.” Kaileigh continues. “Zayden is the only one I love. The only guy whose children I want. But I can’t do that. The elder’s won’t approve of it. I guess … I guess I am just going to have to be a fake-mom to Sheila and whatever other kids you have with Zayden.”

Kaileigh’s emotions get the better of her again and the tears start flowing. Geez, when I stole Zayden’s seed a year ago, I never thought it would cascade into Kaileigh becoming an old maid. That is just not right. I sit next to her and give her a hug while thinking of what to say next. Would this be the right time to tell her to give up on Zayden? That the only future with him is just her becoming miserable because she can never have children? Maybe she just needs to go on a date with some of the other guys.

“You know, my cousin Fionn is still single. And he is a nice person.” I tell Kaileigh. “Maybe you should go on a few dates with him. See if maybe you can work something out.”
