When Daphne and Leo disappeared with the door, a great silence fell. Abigail thank that for the first time in years she had a free day with no plans. No need to shop, wash clothes or cook. Nothing at all. Now to figure out what she was going to do.

"Now that our two lovebirds have left, you all have the day to get to know each other better. A harem needs to be close-knit to serve the Master." Nola declared.

"Is it possible to access the Internet?" Eric asked.

"No. I prefer you to do activities with each other. There is, however, a library where you can rent books for a small fee." Suggested the hostess.

"If I can choose them and they're not imposed on me, I don't see what the problem is." replied Abigail.

Touch-screen tablets appeared in front of each participant, and Nola explained how they worked.

"You've each just received a personalized tablet. Don't worry about the password, only you can use it. They're unbreakable and if you lose it, just come, and ask me again. You have a feature to see the number of BPs and VPs of each candidate. This will come in handy when you want to see where you stand in the rankings. The other main feature is the expenditure of BP linked to transformations, but I'll let you discover that for yourself." Nola explained.

Everyone then took their tablets and began to look at their options. Abigail quickly scrolled through the list.

Maid costume: 400 BP

Increase breast size by one cup: 500 BP.

Increase hair length by 10 cm: 500 BP.

Rejuvenate by one year: 1000 BP.

Natural aging stopped: 10,000 BP.

Most of the starting options weren't very interesting, but the last one is something everyone over 50 has dreamed of. Eternal youth. So many people have dreamed of it, and now it was within her grasp. Sure, she'd have to more than triple her number of BPs, but it was interesting. Contrary to what Nola had planned, everyone spent the day looking at their various options and thinking about what they could do with them. Discussions would have to wait until the following day.

(Eric POV)

Eric looked at the possible transformation offers. It was fascinating. He looked up to see the others immersed in their tablets. He chose to leave the table and head for the beach. The sea would help him think. He reached the beach, took off his sneakers and began to walk barefoot in the sand.

Eric laughed. The situation was so absurd. Yet given the choice of leaving or staying, he would choose to stay. How could he choose to give up such magic?

Gathering his courage, he stretched out his wings and propelled himself into the air. After just a few beats, he found himself almost 20m above the sea. Floating above the water with a mixture of excitement and awe. It was magical.

He flew like that for several hours, forgetting everything else and enjoying the sea and the clouds. But all good things must come to an end. Eventually, he landed softly on the beach.

The problem was that having his feet on the ground also brought back the worries in his head. He couldn't understand why Nola had chosen him to be part of this harem. It wasn't the fact that he was a man that was a problem. He understood easily enough that for this kind of power, notions of sex and gender were very relative.
