Mature Human Woman → Mature Dwarven Woman

Focusing through the spike of pain, I target the phrase describing Esme's species. The goal here is to try and make her something more resistant to corruption, but it's hard to form a concrete and well-thought plan under pressure, let alone with some kind of spiritual migraine to go with it. The spike is a sword of Damocles hovering with quiet promise, and I can't even tell if it's just in my head or I actually feel it preparing to make another alteration when my battered mind seizes on the first fantastical species to come to mind to pre-empt it.

So it is that Esme goes from a 'Mature Human' to a 'Mature Dwarf.'

I feel the world shift around and under me as I go from standing to... laying on my back in bed. I think. Or something. The room becomes more classically medieval with latticed window and a complete lack of light beyond the moon... and the orb glowing at the end of Esme's staff.

As for Esme herself, her hair is seems longer, but that's mostly because the rest of her is proportionally smaller except for her bust and general stockiness. Her outfit's largely the same, but her pearl brooch is now accompanied with a fancy necklace and the gemstone seems to be swirling with blue radiance. This is a color echoed by the orb at the end of her staff which is just a very classical 'orb-tipped' wizard's staff now, and still gleaming with radiant energy ready to be used for... something.

And her expression. She looks... incredibly smug, with narrowed eyes, a hint of teeth, and just... Well. It's a very punchable expression for such a pretty face. Her eyes are brighter too.
