"Don't tease him too much John," Sarah chided you, "this is Tom's first time being selfless, don't discourage him." Everyone laughed again, the atmosphere feeling like a party once more.

"Hey, don't lie. You know just how selfless I can be," he shot back at Sarah. "I suppose you can be very giving, under the right circumstances," she smiled knowingly. You didn't see it, but Nicole blushed at those words. She didn't fully understand the reason for it herself, but she had a feeling she knew exactly what Sarah meant and it made her feel a familiar warmth radiate through her body.
