The Tower: Matriarchs

MATRIARCHS: The Matriarchs for the most part call the shots inside the Tower. While it's quite possible that the Tower itself has a will of it's own, or there's something greater then the Matriarchs, these are the women the rule over the Towerlings. They are ultimately all obstacles in our plans, and we must find a way to get past or avoid them on the route to Creation, and if we don't, we will most certainly be fucked in one way or another.

They Matriarch's all have their own set of standards for what makes a good Handmaiden or Bride. For example, Lydia seeks strength for her handmaidens, but she'll never ask anyone to be her bride except for the one she really loves. And as such, if we can help Lydia with that request, she would be willing to let us pass. If we could find similar means to get past the rest of the Matriarchs, then we would have significantly less difficulty making it to the top.

As for their Handmaidens and Brides, they represent less of a threat then the Matriarchs, and are otherwise unlikely to pose any serious problem on their own.
