Mari finds a quiet little place with Harry...

"So..." Mari said quietly, sparing a look over her shoulder to ensure that Joy still hadn't taken notice of what she was about to do. "Where are we going?" Is this even about Joy anymore? she thought to herself. She had originally approached Horny Harry's Hottie House in order to do something nice for Joy, but it seemed like Harry's focus was entirely on Marigold now, and it didn't look as though there would be much chance anytime soon to use the toys on Joy as she had originally planned.

It seemed as though for the entire time since Harry had caught sight of Marigold, his pervy grin hadn't disappeared for even a moment. No, more than that, it had gotten even bigger the longer she had spent at his 'hottie house.' Marigold didn't really want him thinking of her like that. That wasn't the kind of girl she was. But then again, she wasn't the kind of girl who... who fingered her friends without them knowing, but yet here she was. So maybe Mari didn't know what kind of girl she was, after all.

"Follow me," he said. He waved over one of his employees, who came over the counter to take over Harry's position. He left his side of the Hottie House quickly, bustling along until he had reached Marigold. He was a little uncomfortably close now, looking her up and down with a hunger in his eyes. "You're a cosplayer," he said. "A really good one, too. You've got the perfect titties for Mercy, I can tell."

Marigold went beet-red as soon as the words left his mouth. No one had ever said anything like that about her body before-- well, not in person. There were of course legions of anonymous stream chatters that loved to type things like "TITS OUT" and "BOOBIES" the moment she was next to Lynn on her stream, even when she was wearing her most conservative of clothing, which she almost always was. "What do you mean?" she asked, not following him.

"Well, they have those special individual cosplayer rooms," he said. "If you just go to the cosplay desk, you can get a keycard for any of the unoccupied rooms on this floor."

Marigold couldn't argue with that. She still didn't feel good about this, but she had gotten herself into this position by losing her wallet in the first place, so it wasn't like she had much of a choice about it. She followed Horny Harry out of the main convention hall and toward one of the reception desks with a sign marked COSPLAYER CUSTOMER SERVICE on it.

"After you," he said, slapping her lightly on the bum. She yelped when she felt him make contact with her cheek, but she didn't say anything about it.

"H-hi," she said to the woman at the desk. "Could I get a key card for one of the cosplayer rooms?"

The receptionist looked over Mari's shoulder, obviously glaring at Horny Harry only a few feet away. "Are you okay?" she said, lovingly concerned for Marigold's safety. "Is that guy making you do something you don't want to do? We can call ConSec if you want."

There was a part of Marigold's head that wanted to say, "Yes, call ConSec, this man is a pervert and he's forcing me to be alone with him." But that just wasn't exactly true, and she didn't want to get Harry in trouble, either. He hadn't actually done anything wrong, he was just a bit creepy. Plenty of convention attendees were creepy, and it was the duty of the B. B. Brigadiers to make all con-goers have a better experience through their cosplay.

So instead, she said, brightly and with a smile on her face: "Nope! Thank you, but I'm okay." She couldn't conceal some of the anxiety in her voice, but there was nothing to be done about that. "Can I still get that key card?"

The receptionist took one last long, hard look at Harry before handing the card over to Marigold. "Just be careful, hon," she said. "Your body is your property."

"I know!" Mari said, smiling. "Thank you! Have a good day!" That didn't sound quite right, so out of desperation she threw out one last "God loves you!" and returned to Harry's side. "I got it!" she said. "Room 15. It's right down that hallway."

Horny Harry's smile widened again. "Great work, honey. Now let's head inside."

Marigold led the way. She couldn't stay the way that the people all around her were looking at her. They didn't know what she was doing, or that she was doing it for Joy! She tried to ignore their stares. However only some of them were directed at her and Harry; others were directed instead at her legs, or even her bust. It was those stares that made her the most uncomfortable, and she welcomed the opportunity to be away from them by ducking into Room 15 with her key card in hand. Harry followed close behind her.

Once the door was closed and Mari heard the click of the lock, she turned to face the man with the discreet grey bag. As soon as she was out of sight of the normal convention attendees, her faux-bravery disappeared, and she was back to being a nervous wreck. "So what exactly did you have in mind, Mr. Harry?" she said, biting her lip a little bit.

"Please," Harry said, holding the bag out to her. "Call me Horny."
