Loneliness has been and is one of the most pervasive issues mankind has struggled with. I decided that I would fix that today; my great gift to humanity!

*Old Rule: Everyone has normal health, and is physically attractive.*

I felt a tingle as my body tensed, flesh tightening and squirming for a moment beforw settling down. I looked over at the large mirror on the wall. I was never an ugly guy, but I never had much success with the ladies. The person staring back at me was definitely still me, just leaner, tighter, more symmetrical and proportioned. I looked like the poster child for as a hale young man. Made a few faces before smiling, and putting the pen down to the page. "Now for the real fun!" I chuckled.

*Old Rule: Long ago, before recorded history, people began being born with physical and mental traits derived from the local community's most important animals. These new humans quickly became an integral part of human society, having been selectively bred over time to serve similar puposes to todays domestic animals. Now known simply as pets, these demihumans are usually kept as adored companions.*

*Old Rule: Millenia of selective breeding has resulted in distinct lines of pets, the most common phenotypes being known as puppies, kittens, and bunnies; though some rarer types exist. Despite the physical and behavioral differences between the different lines of pets, they are all highly submissive to humans both mentally and physiologically. Humans slowly changed with their companions, both men and women being significantly bigger.*

*Old Rule: Pets are raised alongside human children until the age of 18, at which point they all go to the Gymnasium, albeit for slightly different purposes. Humans are educated in a career path, and pets are educated on how to be a loving companion. However the most important reason is to expose pets to as many humans as possible so they can find a loving caretaker.*

Still smiling, I put down my golden pencil and admired my handiwork. "I wonder how long it will be th-"
