Michael makes some broader changes

"This is absurd..." I muttered aloud staring down at my now solid gold pencil, and the freshly marked words that summoned it forth. I pondered the implications of what this notebook could do for me. I had always been a bit of a nerd, enjoying fantasy, video games, et cetera. This book had suddenly given me the power to do the impossible, to live out my fantasies. Hesitantly, I penned another rule with my golden utensile.

*Old Rule: Education has always been concentrated in large instutions called Gymnasiums. Upon turning eighteen students are sent there to live and train for their future occupation.*

*New Rule: It is my first day at my local Gymnasium*

The moment my gold pencil left the page everything went black and an intense feeling of vertigo washed over me. I felt myself falling before I my legs found the floor again. A flash of light with an audible pop, followed by a slowly dying ringing accompanied my return to awareness.

"Well... that wasn't normal..." I groaned, rubbing my eyes before looking around to get my bearings. I was now standing in a fairly large room, clearly a dorm room by the two sets of beds and desks. "Guess I have a roommate" I muttered, glancing around to the pile of dirty clothes and other personal affects littering the room.

I clapped my hands together and brought them up to my lips, grinning widely. "Alright, now that I know that works... the real fun can begin." I informed noone, giddily.
