There’s nothing for it but to run, and she continues down the hall, hoping no more enemies emerge out of the stoneworks. [13 vs 4 & 19] One falls behind but the other keeps pace.

She’s escaped one, but the second attempts another attack. [15 vs 16] Malene dodges this hit and finds herself against the door. She rattles the handles, attempting to pull open the massive doors, praying they’re unlocked.
