Malene runs and runs. When she feels like she’s escaped, she pauses. Breathing heavily, she waits to feel the wind constrict her again. When it doesn’t she breathes a sigh of relief. She seems to have escaped its clutches. Looking back up at the sky, she checks to see how far off she’s gotten.
