There was some magic in the world that a lot of people used. Although it was more akin to electricity in a number of ways. Have a small crystal with a minimal charge of magic and it'd power something like a cooling rune for a bit. As such the Mana Vein wasn't being that actively used.

"So Mr. Rumer, you sure the police aren't going to be after us for ****? We didn't even hide the bodies." Jessie asked

The Orc Mr. Rumer responded "Nah... they'll be logged, but those toughs were well know as being part of the nearby mafia. For better or worse the government tends to turn a blind eye if they aren't TOO bad or if something bad happens to one of them." So far thanks to the roughly an hour of loitering Jessie looked at his Mana Pool

"Well, I got enough mana to practice my Sorcery again..." Jessie said then he wondered what exactly common food item meant. "Summon Food" Jessie muttered while picturing a fast food burger. Too his dismay it was just a burger and no wrapper, still he had a burger. Jessie took a bite and it tasted like... a lukewarm burger that was the epitome of Eh, although he hadn't put that much thought into it's actual creation and more just the idea of burger. "Want anything?"

Mr. Rumer took a glance and said "Um... a roast beef sandwich? Extra beef is possible?" a spell later and Mr. Rumer was enjoying a free sandwich. He liked roast beef sandwiches and well "...It's a sandwich alright, not very juicy still impressive that you can conjure it from nothing."

Jessie shrugged "For me and a few other guys the cost is minimal. and I just learned the spell and I think I may be able to make it better with practice." meanwhile Jessie looked at his little expenditures cost MP:1023/8.01E+26... three enhancements that took a LOT of mana and he suspected only possible thanks to his trip and **** of the rules.

Bound Spell: Create Spell: Mana Cost - 50 MP, Create spell allows the user to create a spell that does virtually anything, though the created spell has it's own mana cost (This is not the case with Enchantment's, but they cost ten times as much to create, or 500 MP). As this is a bound spell this can be cast at any time in any way with only the restriction of only being able to cast this spell with Mana.

He had heard the Rod's rules and that it liked to move around and would probably one day leave him, but now... he had given himself most of the rod's powers... He still didn't want to let go of the rod just in case, but long term he was a Sorcerer now. Jessie had been looking around and it seemed like nothing was actively... or even that passively using this mana Vein and wondered.

Spell Created: Bind Mana Vein: Mana Cost- 2000 MP, While within a Mana Vein select a target. Said target will be enchanted with the Mana Vein and can choose how much mana leakage there is.

Just in case Jessie waited another hour where Mr. Rumer was looking a little uneasy with how long he was just waiting there. However with Jessie's mana being high enough that he was confident he could make another spell if this went awry "Bind Mana Vein" he muttered as he selected himself... and he could easily imagine that this was a trap for most as the leakage started at 0 and all the mana the mana vein could generate at a particular time was flooding into his mana pool. There was the subconscious feeling that if his MP had been in the hundreds... or even thousands he would've gone Pop thanks to all the Mana surging into his body. Instead he look at his MP from a few seconds of a full mana vein pumping mana into HIS veins. MP: 1230934/8.01E+26... Yeah all that from a few seconds. Jessie just turned on his gravity manipulation spell just because he could and it didn't even make a dent. Even getting over a million mana in a second or two his mana pool was SO large that it'd take... e+13 or something years to fill up completely which he imagined was when the universe would heat die.

"You ok there Jessie? Your spacing out there." Mr. Rumer said concerned

Jessie asked "Do you have a wish, I just achieved something incredible and I need to test myself and I'm not sure what to do right now."

"Well I've kinda got a debt..." Mr Rumer was musing

Spell Created: Create Basic Matter cost- 5 mana per oz of basic matter, only can create matter that's unenchanted, uninfused, and an naturally occur.

"Create Basic Matter" Jessie said unenthused by how little creating 1 oz gold coins for Mr Rumer had cost him. even less when he had given himself some more enchantments that were highly mana expensive but at the same time relatively low with the Mana Vein

Hyper regeneration: Regenerates HP at a rate of 1000/s even if user is at 0 HP

Extremely enhanced health: Increases HP by 10,000

All together that had cost him 10 million mana per enchantment, but that's was just half a minute's worth of mana. The Magus Rod had vanished and Jessie could feel that it would be harder to do what he had been doing but... He still had the mana vein in his body, massive mana pool, ability to remember all his spells, create spells as he wished...

"Create Basic Matter" Jessie still said as a piece of paper with ink materialized in his hand and he tossed it to Mr. Rumer "My number... I need to figure out what I want to do, but... You already know my secret, perhaps we can scratch each other's backs... depending what I'll do later."

Mr Rumer looked as Jessie had started floating into the air before turning invisible and leaving. Mr Rumer was a LOT more careful with the parchment containing the number of a powerful Sorcerer than the several pounds worth of gold coins... He still needed to hide the coins though and pay off his debt with them... Jessie on the other hand went back to his car and with his control of gravity made his car invisible like him and then just lifted it in to the air like it was weightless and started flying... more falling with style back home. Back home Jessie stared at his hands and his filling mana pool wondering what to do now...

Steep mana costs for a normal Sorcerer, but for one with a Mana Vein practically a rounding error... now... what to summon for dinner?
