Makie

Negi wrote down the names of all the girls on the chalkboard. Ayaka leaned forward in anticipation of being the one chosen for Negi's hand. Of course she would be chosen. Who better than her to be Negi's one and only love? She could see their first date in her mind....

The lake shimmered in the light of the full moon as she and the newly aged Negi walked along the beach. She would reach down and hold his hand, and he would blush his aDORable blush. Then, without a word, he would take her in his arms, gaze deep into her eyes and press his lips to her's. She would be his, and he her's. The dark night sky would change to bright blue with pink clouds just for them as the heavens themselves rejoiced in their deep, true love. Then, as Negi pulled his lips away from her's, he would look into her eyes again and speak those three incredible words.....

Negi: Four for Makie.

Ayaka: WHAT!!!?!??!?!?!

Snapping quickly back to reality, Ayaka looked around to find four hands raised. Not surprisingly, they belonged to all but one member of 2-A's famous Baka (which means 'idiot'; i like the way baka sounds more, so i didn't translate it) Rangers. The one who didn't vote for Makie was Yue, who had voted for Nodoka. Ayaka, in a panic looked at the board. She hadn't been voted on yet!

Negi: And who votes for Ayaka?

There was still a chance! Ayaka's hand shot up, but it was a lone weed in a barren field. A cold howling wind blew through the room, making her arm wave like limp grass.

Negi: One for Ayaka.

Her head dropped. She had lost Negi, the one man she cared for that wasn't just to screw with Asuna. Worse yet, it was to that airhead, Makie.

Makie: Alright! You're all mine, Negi-kun!

Negi: Yes, it appears so.

The final results were:
3rd place: 2 for Chachamaru (cast by Evangeline and Chachamaru)
2nd place: 3 for Nodoka (cast by Nodoka, Yue and Asuna)
and the winner: Makie, with the support of the Baka Rangers, as well as, for some reason, Setsuna.
Everyone else voted for herself.

Negi: Well, then, Makie....please see me after class.

Makie, winking: Oh, I will.

Negi: Um...yes. If that's all settled, then class is dismissed.

Nodoka stood first, but as she left the room, she appeared to be in a daze of some sort.
