Makeover on Melissa

A short while later, the sister's arrived at a clothing boutique.

"I come here all the time." Melissa explained. "Don't worry, the makeover is on me!"

Rachel was hopeful that this would improve her flagging self esteem after being mistaken for a man. Melissa led her to a woman in her earlier 20's at the counter.

"My sister wants a makeover." Melissa explained, handing over her credit card.

"Great!" The receptionist said. "April over here will help her out."

"Rachel was led to a salon chair where a punky woman, also about their age waited.

"So, here's what I'm thinking..." Melissa said to April, in a lowered voice Rachel couldn't hear.
