"Does that line work?" You say smiling and touching your hair.

Ryan might be a sleaze, but he's your friend. He deserves to feel good about himself.

He fumbles a bit, "uh-um... no... not really. My name is Ryan," he says unconfidently.

"Alexa." You say, "Are you going to the club alone?" Making sure to adjust your body language. It is surprisingly easy to fall into the role of a sexy club girl.

"Yeah, I'm on my own," he says.

That little liar, you think. Instead you say, "I am too. Would you like to come with me? With you around I might be able to have fun without being hit on by creepy guys. And if you are with me the bouncer will be more likely to let you in."

"You got yourself a deal," Ryan says. You shake on it.

You both walk up to the club. To better sell that both of you are a couple you decide to hold onto his arm. Ryan's face turned red with embarrassment, but the bouncer waved you both through without a second glance.
