Maddie the HR Manager

The lobby was basically a big empty office with one cubical in the middle. On the desk was a name plate stating “Maddie”.

“Be with you in a second,” a woman said without looking back.

Jessie looked at the slightly chubby lady standing over something on the back desk of their cubical area. She was maybe five foot eight and that was flat sneaker boots. She was wearing those canvas sneaker knee boots, a black leather pencil skirt and a white blouse with shoulder length chestnut hair brown hair. The woman turned around and Jessie noted that she was pretty in a sexy librarian kind of way. Her brown eyes looked Jessie up and down. Before she stuck a stack of papers in a stapler and then into a drawer below the front facing desk.

“How can I help you? Drop off? Adoption? Or Pickup?” the woman asked.

“I’m Jessie, I was called by the HR manager…” Jessie started.

“Oh of course! I am Maddie by the way, I am the office,” the woman smiled and made her way around the side of the cubical, “Come with me, Linda wants to talk to you. When can you start?”

“Today?” Jessie shrugged.

“Great, I think we have something in your size in the closet,” Maddie smiled, “I am sure Linda and Sylvanna will get you up to speed in now time.”

Maddie held her watch to a panel next to one door and it unlocked. Maddie led Jessie into a hallway.

“Over here is the Adoption rooms, let me get this,” Maddie pointed down one hallway to the left and then she held her watch to another panel before continuing, “Back here are on the first floor is the Kennels for boarding puppies, upstairs is the strays housing and training area. In the back is the play rooms. Let’s go to the elevator over here.”

As Maddie led Jessie to the elevator, Jessie took the opportunity to look in one of the doors of the boarding kennels…
