Mabelle gets a perm

Mabelle wasn't certain how long exactly she had kept her eyes closed. It had felt like an eternity, but it was no doubt far shorter than that. As used to getting her hair styled as she was, something felt different.

"You can open your eyes." the hairdresser announced and Mabelle complied. Eyelids fluttering open, she was met with a rather gray perm. Done up in exquisite fashion, the curls alone aged her into a much more mature-looking woman. A shame she didn't have her makeup kit on her to fix her face and further accentuate the image.

"I look amazing." Mabelle announced, her old lady voice further enhanced by her change of hairstyle. Looking over at Caroline, the elderly coordinator was met with a thumbs-up. All the more reason to get up from the chair and head over to her companion. But not without Caroline paying, of course.

"Ready to head back home, Mabelle?" Caroline inquired and Mabelle nodded. Grabbing her share of the shopping bags, a smile hung proudly to her face.
