Getting Mabelle's hair done

Exiting the cosmetics store, it was just a short walk over to the salon. While there were still people looking her way, Mabelle tuned them all out to the best of her abilities.

Though, it would be Mabelle who reached the door first. Waiting a moment for Caroline to hold it open for her, the pair stepped through.

Inside, the standard trappings of a salon stared back. At the moment, there was no one waiting, leaving the hairdresser to focus in on Mabelle here. Looking around the same age as her, there was something comforting in that fact.

"A new customer!" she cheerfully announced, catching the elderly coordinator by complete surprise. Pulling her over to a nearby seat, Mabelle didn't even get a chance to get a word in. Craning her neck to look over at Caroline, she was met with a smile from her companion. Figures.

Pulling her head back to the mirror, Mabelle took a moment to calm herself. It didn't matter if the hairdresser was in on this plan or not. Perhaps Caroline had chosen to take her here because this woman would help her unlock a part of her she had been **** to hide for one reason or another.

"This is going to take a bit, so why don't you close your eyes." the hairdresser cooed and Mabelle did just that. Mostly to humor the woman, it felt like the right call here.
