Lynn tries to get HammeredTime's attention.

"So what do you guys want to do first?" Joy said, scoping out the beach with her hand blocking the sun's harsh light. "Maybe go grab a drink from those guys over there? I think I saw people burying coolers of beer in the sand..."

"Hee!" Terri giggled. "A sand bar!"

"Ugh," Joy groaned. "Warn me before you break out the puns."

If Lynn was listening while her friends were talking, she didn't do anything to show it. Her attention was single-minded as she stared at Saki and the huge ripped guy on the other side of the beach. It wasn't clear who, exactly, she seemed to care more about. "You guys have fun," she said. "I'll meet up with you later. I've got some business to attend to."

Kiona rolled her eyes. "Of course she's the first one to abandon us, this was her idea," she said. "Go have fun with your German guy."

"I will," Lynn said, not even looking at the others. She started to wander off toward HammeredTime and Saki, blissfully unaware that her fellow cosplayers were making fun of her.

"And your weird obsession," Kiona said as Lynn was walking out of earshot. No reason to set her off now, this day was supposed to be about fun with friends.
