Loudly launch a surprise attack

Christina took a deep breath before moving. Pushing off the balls of her feet, the warrior rolled out from behind cover. A metallic “SWOSH” was heard as she drew the sword out of her scabbard, which was combined with her battle cry. “ARRRGGGGGHHHH,” the redhead screamed as she lunged at the closest orc. The two were surprised and unorganized, scrambling to blindly grab any of their equipment as her sword struck the first monster. Christina adeptly slashed at his throat, blood spewing out as he sank to his knees. The greenskin uselessly grasped at the blood spurting from his neck as Christina moved past his collapsing body. The second orc was fumbling with his axe when the girl’s dagger entered his eye, and within seconds the redhead stood alone.

Well that was easy, Christina thought as she took out a rag and wiped the blood off her blade. Truthfully, she was shocked at how well that had gone. Despite her experience and skill, the orcs were stronger and faster than her. If she didn’t have the advantage of surprise or had been a second slower, it might have turned out much worse. She tried not to think too much on that as she sheathed her sword.

Christina looked up at the main gates of the palace, ready to venture inside and face the evils within. The iron doors were large, looming over Christina. However, as she pressed on the handle, she was shocked at how easily they slid open. Is this her magic? She wondered as she stepped into the parlor.
