Logan's Trip

Friday 7:30 AM – Ravers Manor - Azure Rocks

"You're really not coming with us?" he heard his cousin Heather asked him.

Logan nodded and said. "Wouldn't look good for the Vice-President of the student council to skip school for an early spring break."

Heather squinted her eyes and looked at Logan for a moment before she slapped his shoulder. "You and Charlie aren't going on a 'boys only trip', you two found a couple of sluts to bang!" Logan chuckled and rolled his eyes, for a moment he thought about telling her he was going with Sharon. "You get to have fun but I have to get stuck with Kurt! It's not fair!"

Logan laughed out loud now "Yea! laugh it off buster!" Heather fumed at her cousin. "Can't you take Kurt with you? Can't those sluts have a friend for Kurt?"

"Sorry Heather, but it's really not what you think," Logan said. Seeing the dejected look on her face he added. Why don't you and Kurt come with us."

Heather shook her head in disagreement. "I'd still be stuck with Kurt and without my friend and with your slutty dates. Sorry." She paused for a moment before asking her cousin "You sure you don't want to join us later?"

Logan shook his head and said "You shouldn't go either. You know it's Bishop's trip. You shouldn't be intruding on it." They had gone over this many times with Logan trying to convince Heather and her friends no to go on the trip since, he argued, it was Bishop's idea for him and his friends and they should stay out. Has time moved on and more of Zack's friends dropped out of the trip Logan felt vindicated by his argument even though the girls refused to see it. Finally, Logan dropped his arguments and had started to plan his own trip with his other friends for the week.

"It's Ashley's cabin too." Heather said "She has as much right to go there and take her own friends too." but Logan just shrugged and shook his head disapprovingly.

He watched his cousin kiss goodbye to everyone. When she came to him her kiss lingered a bit more than usual before breaking off and for a moment he wondered if she had wiggled her lips against his or if had been his own imagination. From the corner, of his eyes, he saw the knowing glances from everyone and knew it hadn't been his imagination. She was trying to get back at him for not going with her by teasing him and trying to mess with his head. He ignored the snickering glances from his family and watched her toned leg and ass skip down the stairs and her large breast bounce with each step. He caught himself before his imagination continued down that road and chuckled at her antics.

Later at lunchtime, Logan sat with his friend Charlie and were going over their plans for the next week. All day Logan's thoughts kept drifting back to Sharon.

For the last few years, they had a sort of Friends with Benefits relationship. They had occasional hookups but never a lasting relationship. They had both had hookups with other lovers. But for some time now Logan had been feeling uncomfortable with the situation. He had seen how happy Ashley was with Brandon. He also saw how happy other couples were and wanted to experience the same closeness. He wanted to have a close relationship like his parents had and he knew that he could do that with Sharon.

Duncan had actually given him the idea for this trip. A week alone with Sharon and a couple of friends. A romantic getaway for two of them would help. Logan was sure that watching other couples enjoy the intimacy of a close relationship would convince Sharon that they were better off as a couple than as friends with benefits. He was looking forward to finally claiming Sharon has his girlfriend and forming a relationship like his parents had.
