Listen up

"Everyone is aware?" Xander asked.

"Awake and aware. Not able to move or speak." The ghost of his long dead friend confirmed.

"Here goes nothing." Xander grumbled to himself and strode out into the main hall begween the two teams of women. Team Slayer on his right, Team Exes on his left.

"OK! Listen UP!" He hollared. He could see eyes swiveling to look at him. Some of them glaring.

"Ladies." He gave a small bow. "Guess what? We are fucked. A random omnipotent being has decided to play a game and R.O.B.y has decided we're the one to play."

He could see that all the ladies were now glaring.

"I aint to happy about it either." He canted his head and then raising one hand he pointed out two people.

"However, we want to play this damn R.O.B.s game because he's decided to throw in some resurrections as prizes." Xander made a flourish and every woman's head was **** to swivel and look at Joyce and Kendrah.

"That's right. We play the game and we get Joyce back. We play the game we get Kendrah back. We play the game till it's done and we might get back more people that we lost." Xander said passionately.

"It's going to suck, surely. It's going to be bad, probably. We are going to be dancing to the tune of a random god's weird enjoyment. But, it.... It will be worth it if we get back the people we love." Xander looked at Buffy. He held her eyes and watched as tears glimmered in the corner of her eyes. He knodded at her as the tears spilled down her cheeks.

"I don't know about you... but, gang, to get back the people we lost I'll play any game for as long as possible. I don't know what the rules are. I don't care what the rules are. I dont care what they ask me to do. I am getting back the people I love!" Xander looked around at the other women and saw their determination firming up in the eyes.

"Now is everyone on board? Everyone gonna play ball?"
