Lisa gets the spa treatment

"Unnnnhh," Lisa sighed. "That feels good."

Lisa sat on the edge of one of the beds in the lake room with Taylor behind her, kneading her shoulders.

Hannah looked up from where she was painting Lisa's toenails. "Taylor gives the best back rubs. Don't you, Sugarbees?" she said. "Mmm-mmm, those big hands."

"Huh," Taylor said. "When did I ever give you just a back rub?" she said.

Lisa felt a quiver inside at Taylor's low, husky voice. A phone sex voice, she thought.

"You did," Hannah said. "A couple of times. Like when I was sick and having trouble sleeping."

Taylor pulled Lisa's dark hair to one side and massaged up her neck.

Lisa sighed, "Mmmmhh."

"She gives the best head rubs too," Hannah said.

Taylor walked her fingertips up into Lisa's scalp and massaged up to her temples.

"Grrrrhhhhh," Lisa said. "God, maybe I should get a girlfriend."

"I recommend," Hannah said.

"Wellll," Taylor said.

"Oh yeah," Hannah said. "We're not actually...girlfriends?"

"Huh?" Lisa said. "You're roommates, you have sex together, you call each other pet names, I mean like how can you not be?"

"We tried being girlfriends..." Taylor said.

"God, the DRAMA," Hannah said. "I mean, well."

"Well," Taylor said. "I mean we might try it again, but, you know."

"Yeah," Hannah said. "After a few weeks of 'hee hee, I like you, the sex is great!' we went steady together, and, well..."

Taylor said. "After a few more weeks we were fighting all the time. So we took a break and um..."

Hannah laughed. "We had a week or two of pretty intense casual hook-ups..."

"Boys," Taylor said. "All boys. Use 'em and throw 'em away."

"And then, haha..." Hannah said.

"Then we were best friends again," Taylor said.

"Best friends again, IN BED," Hannah said. "Just like the fortune cookie thing."

Lisa giggled. "Your magnetic personality will bring you friends...IN BED."

"The change of seasons will present you with new life choices...IN BED," Hannah said.

"Okay if I rub your forehead?" Taylor asked Lisa.

"Please," Lisa said. "So what are you if you're not girlfriends?"

Taylor and Hannah's eyes met over Lisa's shoulder.

"Roommates with **** benefits?" Taylor said.

"Best friends and roommates with **** benefits," Hannah said.

"Co-dependents?" Taylor said.

"Enablers," Hannah said. "Definitely enablers. Okay, that's your toes. You like?"

"Sparkly," Lisa said. "I like. What's that look on your face?" she asked Hannah.

"She wants to kiss your toes," Taylor said. "You gotta cut that out, Hannah."

"I'm just LOOKING," Hannah said. "They're so pretty."

"You're gonna get a rep," Taylor said. "You're gonna give me a rep. 'Oh yeah, that's Taylor, best friends with the toe freak."

Lisa burst out in giggles. She cleared her throat. "You two are so awesome," she said. "I was all folded up and crying, and now I feel so good."

"Girls gotta stick together," Taylor said. She scritched her fingernails through Lisa's scalp. "How's that?"

"Whoa, all tingly," Lisa said.

"That one drives me crazy," Hannah said. "I'm glad you found someone who enjoys that."

There was a tapping on the door. "Popcorn!" Heather said.

"Bring it on!" Hannah said.
