Limits

After a while, it was just me and Jasmine. I wanted to make a wish.

"Jasmine, I wish that everyone will always be safe" I said. But she didn't respond, only frowned.

"It doesn't work like that" she said, her tone somber. What does she mean?

"I don't understand" I said to her. I'm ****, **** to protect them.

"No one is ever 100% safe. I know the vision scared you, but please listen. You have the power to shape your own future. Don't view the vision as something that WILL happen, but as something that MIGHT happen. Something you can prevent by your own actions" she said. It took a while, but her words sunk in.

She's right.

"Thank you Jasmine. You're the best" I said to her before hugging her. I might be wrong, but I think she blushed. After the hug, she gave me her usual smile.

"You know, you should ask Mio on a date soon" she said.

"No" I said with my own smit, confusing her.

"Why not?" she asked.

"The phone never said it had to be me to ask her out" I said with a smirk. My own phone went off with a text from Lyn.

"SHE SAID YES" I read, making Jasmine smile. When you have someone like Lyn in your corner, you don't have to manage the Harem alone.
