A level 5, because one of the developers decreed it so.

Health: (-place-holder-)

Attack: (-place-holder-)

Defence: (-place-holder-) - value based on whether the soft biomass is exposed, and primarily based on the ‘vessel’ (default is wooden chest)

Abilities:

Drain - (level 2)

• Syphons HP from target once fully ingested/contained within and recovers health with each pulse.

Ensnare - (level 4)

  • “I like where this is going..” Starting attack ability. Can capture nearby prey with spongy tendrils/tentacles. Can be cut, but cannot be ripped off unless target is at least 10 levels above mimic’s main level. Durability of tendrils increase with max health and ability level.

(Beta) Stimulate - (level 1)

  • “…why resist? Why fight what feels so good…?” - Reduces the will of single target to resist after [-Ensnared-] status persists beyond 4 minutes. Ability can be activated with 6 hour cool-down after each use. Cool-down reduced by 0.5 for every level gained in ability. Ability not effective on targets greater than 15 levels above mimic main level. Stimulate status effect duration on target after 15 minutes lasts until successful roll of WILL of target.

Passive Abilities:

Disguise - (level 3)

  • “looks like a chest, but is it really?” - Likely to be identified as the typical treasure chest. Odds of detection are reduced by 2x per level gained in ability and success increases by x1.5 for every main level above target adventurer level. Odds of success increase again if approaching adventurer is alone.
