Chapter 160 by Duskford Duskford

Let's take a look at Zack's table

While Zack stole glances at Victoria’s table every now and then, Chloe turned to her side to look at Gavin. Her boyfriend had finished a burger and was currently watching an animated chat Taylor and Hannah were having.

She smiled, put a finger on his chin and turned his head to hers to plant a quick peck on his lips. Gavin lightly blushed and returned her smile before turning back to the older girls.

Chloe stifled a sigh at that, aside from when he ate her out at Lisa’s cabin, a fact that she chalked up to being in an ****, pressuring situation, it seemed Gavin wasn’t one to initiate contact, she was the one who had to goad him into kisses and hugs.

Sure, she didn’t want him to charge at her with squeezing hands and waving penises, but she expected to have more reciprocity, to be surprised with a stolen kiss every now and then. It seemed Gavin only was comfortable once she started the contact and this isn’t how she imagined a dating couple to be. Finished as they were, Ashley and Brandon were a lot different, and Chloe wanted her relationship with Gavin to be like theirs once were.

When she voiced those concerns to Taylor earlier, her best friend’s older sister told her to relax, that she wasn’t dating Gavin for a full day yet and already was judging him. Taylor also told her that, seeing as Gavin was the embodiment of shyness, she would have to talk to him if she wanted to fix whatever issues their relationship might have.

”Taylor’s right,” The redhead decided. *”I can’t be that impatient, he’s just a bit overly gentle, that’s it.”

As Chloe mulled over Taylor’s words, Ashley walked over to their table and plopped down on the chair Peter vacated a few minutes ago between Taylor and another empty chair. The younger blonde leaned over Taylor.

“Heather’s out.” She whispered to the other two.

Hannah frowned. “What do you mean with ‘out’?”

“She doesn’t want to help with the plan anymore,” Ashley replied. “Apparently, something happened between them back in town that made her change her mind.”

“Zack haven’t said anything about it,” Taylor whispered back and then, turning to her brother, she shook his arm. “What happened between you and Heather?”

Zack sighed, looking at each of the three girls staring expectantly at him. “We’ve fooled around a bit,” He told them in a grave tone. “But then I felt guilty and she noticed it. Knowing her I suspect she wasn’t too happy.”

“Damn, Zachary,” Taylor chastised her brother in a low voice. “No wonder she’s angry at you!”

The blue-eyed boy’s expression became even more somber. “I couldn’t help it, Tay,” He argued, softly. “I kept thinking I was letting Victoria down.”

As her brother turned to gaze at Vicky once more, Taylor looked at the Woodsen sisters with a worried face. “What do we do now?” She asked them. “Zack will screw up everything and lose all his chances with Victoria if we leave him alone.”

The blonde sisters looked at each other and at Taylor, the three of them trying to think about an effective way to keep Zachary out of trouble. In the end, it was Hannah who came to the rescue.

“I’ve got it, Tay!” She exclaimed as quietly as she could. “Focus on convincing Shawn and leave your brother to me, I’ll make sure he stays busy.”

Taylor raised an eyebrow, but before she could ask her friend what she had in mind, Hannah had already stood up. She watched as the blonde patted Zack’s shoulder with a playful expression on her face.

“C’mon, Zachary,” Hannah said, causing him to look up at her. “Let’s play that game of pool that your mean sister prohibited last night.”

“Now?!” Zack fired back, incredulously. “But…”

“No excuses, my young apprentice,” Hannah interrupted him with a grin. “Do you want Taylor to change her mind?”

A grin broke out on Taylor’s face as well, Hannah really had the best ideas at the most random times. “Yes, go on, Zack,” The brunette hushed her little brother. “You can’t be here moping all day long, go play some pool with Hannah.”

Zack opened his mouth for another retort, but no sound came out. He closed it and scratched the back of his neck. “Alright then,” He sighed in resignation. “Maybe it’ll be good to distract myself for a while.”

“Great, let’s go then,” Hannah clapped as Zack stood up to join her. “I’ve got to show you how much you still have to learn.”

Zack managed a small smile as he walked away with the older blonde. Taylor and Ashley were relieved that another crisis had been averted, but the matter of seducing Shawn was still at the back of the brunette’s mind, like a headache that she wanted to get rid of as quickly as possible.

At the deck, Chloe watched while her friend left with his old crush. She snickered, the Zack from two years ago would probably bust a nut at the prospect of being alone with Hannah, if he already wasn’t now.

”He’d probably be pretty hard already,” Chloe’s mind wandered, taking her back to that moment when she saw him at Lisa’s cabin. That impossibly long penis that made Lisa so hap… whoa, Chloe!” She frowned, wondering why the heck she was thinking about her best friend’s intimate parts, now of all times. Especially when she had gotten a great boyfriend in Gavin, her other old friend. ”Must be the lack of private time with my laptop, yes, that must be it.”
