If people think school is boring before, imagine having to attend school after learning that you have power only to learn that you can't use said power for more than half your waking time. Despite Alex being adamant about them going to school and the sense of normality, it brings to his now complicated life, he can't help but agree with Amelia that it's quite boring. At least school doesn't last too long since they're in college and they can pick their classes now.

"Hey, have you heard? People were saying there's going to be a new transfer student tomorrow in our Genetics class." Amelia ask when the two of them met up after class is over.

"This late in the school year?" They are already well on their way into the 4th quarter, only a few more weeks until it's summer break. It's surprising that someone would choose to transfer this late and even more surprising that the college would accept it.

"Yeah, apparently this person is a "modeled student" in their last college but had to move school after being **** to move away from their previous home."

"Huh... though, while that's interesting, why are you bringing it up now?"

"Hehehe, I heard they're a girl and a sexy one at that." Amelia answered with a perverted giggle.

"Of course." Alex shakes his head. "Anyway, now that we're done with school for the day, how about we go do some more grinding?"

"Sure. How are we doing it this time?"

"Hm... Lily is not here so that'll make it more difficult to protect you. Maybe... ah right." Alex reaches into his pocket and pull out two books. "Since your power is based on a game, maybe you can learn this instantly like skillbooks in games." He said, handing her the books.

"It's worth a try." Amelia agrees, grabbing the books. When she touches them, more screens pop up signaling that they are right about their theory.

"Awesome." Amelia grins and clicks yes on both. The books turned into small motes of lights that flow into Amelia.

"Well, at least we now know that you shouldn't use that around people." Alex sighs. Those books, despite being only the basic of basics of magic, cost quite a lot of money. He didn't think they would disappear just like that when Amelia learned them.

At least he has already mastered the skills and memorized most of the books. In fact, he was even able to modify Mana Bolt into his own skill using his sword. It was how he was able to shoot blades of mana from his swords. The Mana Blades does way more damage than the Mana Bolts can.

"Good, now try to create an Illusionary Barrier like I told you yesterday." Alex tells Amelia.

Amelia nods before raising her arms into the air. A while later, a barrier simmer into existance and another message pop up for Amelia. Off in the distance, Alex can see Demon Spawns appearing already.

"We can check out your skills later. For now, I'll be the melee/tank and you'll try to get them from range." Alex tells Amelia.

"Got it," Amelia nods, agreeing. She wouldn't want to get close to those things anyway. She only did it before because she wanted to look cool in front of Lily and because she have no other ways of attacking.

"Alright, let's do this then. We should be able to finish this within an hour." Since they choose a random spot to create the dungeon, he figure there shouldn't be too many demons this time.
