Later, over at the food hall

"GOoooOOD morning, TEAM RWBY!!!" Nora cheered as they approached, already animated for the day ahead.

Ruby herself wasn't having a terrific day, but there was no reason to let everyone else know and spoil their good time. Ruby elected to simply smile politely. Demure but not unfriendly.

"Sorry about being late, by the way. Ruby elected, again, not to wake us at a suitable time," said Weiss, stating matter-of-factly.

"I wasn't feeling very keen to spring up and go, Weiss. It just slipped my mind. I'm sorry," Ruby said, remembering the glum mood she was in.

"I love being late for things, Ruby. I'm glad you haven't learnt that yet."

Weiss sat down, confused for a moment, before shrugging and continuing to pick up a plate and making her way to the breakfast buffet.

Not long afterwards, Team RWBY were with Team JNPR eating breakfast. However, as they were so late, they wouldn't have much of a chance to shoot the shit and instead focused on eating, only speaking occasionally.

However, during said breakfast, there were some inciting incidents.
