Last dutch efforts

Vampire Stephanie stops twirling the stake, the point facing Bryce.

"Mmm..relax..you won't die...permanently " hisses Stephanie, using the stake to nock the cross from his hand, back to his chest.

She then drops the stake as she grasos the cross,ripping it from his neck and tossing it aside. The cross left a cross shape burn on her hand, wich she shows Bryce.

"See..told you it wouldn't stop me alone" she hisses, licking the burn with her tongue, wich extends out about 3 ft from her mouth.

"What the fuck" says Bryce seeing this, as the second stake slides from his other sleeve.

He now knows that he can't win, but he can slow her long enough to get back in his house. To Stephanie's surprise, Bryce's lips part.

"Your right Stephanie..i can't kill you, I hesitated like you said, and dealt a none fatal wound to you. And if I tried again..most likely it happened again" he says, gripping the stake tightly.

Her tongue retracts back into her mouth.

"So your giving up. Must say..thats surprising cuz, but who am i to say i told you so.." hisses Stephanie.

She let's her guard down Slightly, and Bryce makes his move, stabbing the stake into Stephanie's left eye. She rears back in pain as he lts go.of the stake, and dashes to his house. He quickly opens the door, and enters , closing it behind him.

"Shit..now what, I won't be sade in here long...unless the trope of a vampire having to get invited in is teal like the silver or at least the cross was" thinks Bryce.

Outside, the second stake hits the ground.

"Danmit..mmm, but this just makes me want him more now " says Stephanie missing her left eye" she hisses.

"Well he actually put up a fight against you Stephanie, but you'll have to let him go for now, we have new orders from lord Drax" comes a females voice.

Stephanie looks to see Miko.

"Errr...fine..next time I guess...mmm" hisses Stephanie as her and miko face into the night.

Bryce us surprise that after 5 minutes nothing happen, as he waits, trying to figure out something, a half hour passes, and he realizes that Stephanie has giving up for some reason or another, cause theirs no way she take this much time to make another move, especially since she had the upper hand by far.
