Jump through the window

You look through the window and you are prepared to jump.
But it's a big fall, you can easily break a leg, and they will capture you anyway... or a monster can eat you.
You notice a big hole in the ground with multiple slimy plants, this can maybe absorb the impact, but you don't know if it is a creature's den.
