Julie doesn't notice that Erica is bottomless.

Julie was sitting at her desk, working on something. "Don't turn around. Don't turn around. Please, don't turn around," Erica prayed quietly as she took slow steps towards her bed, trying not to make a sound.

"Erica? What was all that about?" Julie asked without turning around.

Erica couldn't lie to roommate. It didn't feel right. "Mary sent somebody to get me to sign some form for the Living History Camp thing next week." She hadn't reached her bed, but had reached her dresser. Maybe she could grab something quickly.

"Which review did you enroll in?" Julie asked. She was still facing her desk, but Erica couldn't chance that Julie could turn and face her at any time. She quickly reached into her dresser and grabbed the first pair of panties she could find as well as the shorts that she usually wore to her volleyball class.

"Um..." Erica responded unintelligently. Her primary focus was on covering up her exposure, not on the conversation. "The Paganism one," she finally said.

That's strange," Julie said thinking over what Erica had said. Just as she finished getting the clothes on, Julie turned to face her. "I chose to enroll in that review as well, but Mary hasn't sent anybody to get me to sign something."

Erica had dodged a bullet, successfully making herself presentable before Julie could notice anything strange. She didn't know if she could have handled being caught like that by somebody she spent so much time with, who, as far as she could tell, didn't know about her history of exposure. That being said, what she had just said made her feel a little bit queazy. "You didn't have to sign any forms?"

Julie rested her head in both her hands. "Nope."

There had to be a reasonable explanation. "Maybe Mary just hasn't gotten to you yet?"

Julie considered that for a moment. "That is a possibility, but we're roommates. Wouldn't it have been faster to do us both at the same time."

Erica blushed at the thought of Mary "doing" both of them at the same time, but Julie was right. Hopefully the form was as Alicia had described. But if Julie hadn't had to sign one, too, then what could she have just committed herself to?

"Anyways, I have got to finish this work. It's killing me, and I need to finish it before I go to sleep."

"Oh," Erica replied. "I'm just going to turn in." Julie had already laser focused back onto her work and didn't respond. Erica moved back to her bed and closed the laptop. There were too many thoughts whizzing through her head and she didn't feel that she could focus enough to finish the movie she had been watching before Alicia interrupted. She just wanted to sleep. Putting her laptop back into her backpack, she fell asleep soon after her head hit her pillow.
