John Newman Digimon Tamer

“Ok, let’s take a look at this module...” John said to himself as he checked his new module.

John’s eyes scanned the character sheet thoroughly in an attempt to see what was added and removed. He noticed all of his **** knight related moves were removed but could not see any additions to this new screen. Is...is there nothing new added... John thought to himself as he continued his search for any new additions.

“Ah wait, there!” John exclaimed when he finally saw something.

“What?” asked Shelly, at least somewhat curious about what John had found. Sam and Gali had taken it upon themselves to play with the derps to keep them distracted from the **** situation they were all in.

“I found two whole changes! Digimon Bond and my bond level. Looks like my bond is currently at zero of seven. Let’s see what it says about this passive,” John told Shelly as he clicked on the passive.

The closeness of a tamer and their digimon. The stronger the bond, the more power a digimon will be able to access.

“Well that doesn’t seem useful,” Shelly said between sighs as she sat down on a tree stump.

“No, it makes perfect sense. Got to have a bond with the digimon in order for them to power up,” John told the sulking spygirl. He pulled the two digitamas out of his inventory and into each arm. He made his way along to where the others were. There he saw Mimi and Yaya playing with their own digitamas, carrying them around or licking them, or one of many other things. As soon as John sat down on rather comfy rock, the two digitamas of the derps began to glow rather brightly.

“Oh my!” gasped Gali as she saw the bright light.

“Like, what’s happening?” asked Sam.

“OoOooOoOo, shiny!” the derps said in unison. All eyes were on the two digitama as the light focused inward as cracks appeared until they burst apart to reveal two baby digimon.

“OH MY GOD THEY ARE SO CUTE!” every single female in the group said in unison. The first one basically looked like a small round snowball with two smaller snowballs as ears, large black eyes, and a small mouth. It could not speak but it immediately jumped towards Mimi, who happily hugged it.

“You’re now my second bestest friend, after Yaya!” Mimi said as she cuddled her new friend. The digimon let out a happy mewing sound.

The other digimon looked like a solid form of grey smoke with a cow lickesque flame at the top of its head. It had two glowing eyes and a large mouth with four baby teeth, two small arms, and no legs but a wispy tail. That little one flew over to Yatina and hugged her completely. Yaya happily returned the hug and repeated Mimi.

“You’re now my second bestest friend, behind Mimi!” she said, which the digimon happily agreed to.

“Well now, those two hatched, did they?” Leomon observed as he returned from the mourning over his lost friend. “Now, let’s see who we got here...” said the beastman digimon as he made his way over to the derps.

“You,” he said to Mimi, “have a Yukibotamon there. Be good to it and let’s see what it will become,” he said to her as he gave her a pat.

“I will, Mr. Dogman!” Mimi happily told Leomon. He smiled at her and made his way over to Yatina.

“Now, you seem to have a Mokumon,” Leomon told Yaya. “You don’t see that one very often. It’ll be interesting to see who it’ll become. Take good care of it, ok?” Leomon told her as she gave him a nod and responded with a pat.

John happily watched as everyone celebrated that the digitamas hatched into Yukibotamon and Mokumon. The two digimon seemed to have found rather comfy spots on top of Mimi and Yaya’s heads as the derps ran around and continued to play. This event seemed to have also boosted the morale of everyone in the group, which was sorely needed.

“Hopefully, when you two hatch, we can have just as much fanfare,” John said as he continued to cuddle his digitamas. “I’ll treat you guys right. Together we’ll fix this place and have all sorts of adventures. I loved your shows as a kid and enjoy your games even now, even if they are a little grindy,” John told his eggs as he watched the girls pass around the baby digimon, each one showered with love. He knew these digimon would be treated well. The ones that seemed to have bonded with the derps even more so, since who knows what will happen to them with the power of derp. “Oh god, what if they become some sort of derpy X-anitbody versions...Who knows what power they could have...” John scared himself with that line of thinking so he decided it was best to move on from that.

“Big bro John!” Mimi said as she bounded over to where John sat. “You gots some eggys too?!” she asked as she got up close to one of John’s eggs.

“I did get some digitama as well,” John told her. “I don’t know when mine will hatch but hopefully it's soon like yours and Yatina’s did,” he told her. Mimi gave one digitama a lick and the other one a sniff before she spoke.

“Mmm. They seem like they are close. Keep up the good work, big bro!” Mimi said with a big smile before she turned and skipped back to the others.

“Well, at least I know it won’t be long now,” John said to himself as he continued to observe the others. He did not wish to ruin their good time. “First we gotta get out of this Digital World and then figure out a way to get out of the Nazi base too. This is quite the predicament I’ve gotten us into. I’ll figure something out, I always do...” John said to the eggs as he just rambled on.
