John, the Everyman

It was the day of Senior prom and John felt miserable. He had been planning to ask out Courtney Harris, the hottest girl in school, but he wussed out. Now it's doomsday and he is stuck with two prepaid tickets with no one to go with.

His mom and dad had helped him rent a tux as well. Jessica, his twin sister, had been making fun of his inability to woo anything with a pulse.

He still had 10 hours to find someone. He went over his options. He still had to pick up his tux at the mall, maybe someone else was going stag and needed a date? His friends all already had dates, but maybe one of them knew someone who would like to go. Worst case scenario he could always beg his sister to go with him.
