Jessica has had enough

Jessica decides that she can't spend one moment longer with Elizabeth, with these monsters, in this mansion. The terror in Diana's room was the wake up call she needed, the fork that **** her to unequivocally choose a side.

I need to be smart though she thinks.

"Okay, Elizabeth, you're right. It was just surprising to see is all" Jessica says as she roles onto her side. She bites into the thrall's neck. The blood spurts into her mouth, as the thrall lets out a moan.

"There, there, dear. I know" Elizabeth coos. Jessica opens the thrall's robe and bites into her breast, growling lightly. I need to sell this Jessica thinks.

Elizabeth rises from the edge of the bed. "I'll leave you to enjoy your meal. Let's talk more later, Jessica" Elizabeth says as she glides out the room. Jessica stops feeding as soon as she hears Elizabeth down the hall. Jessica licks the thrall's wounds, tells her to be quiet, and gets up to shut the door. No lock on this side. She puts a chair under the handle. She gets an outfit out from the dresser and gets dressed.

I'll never get out if I try to escape through the front door, Jessica reasons. She looks over at the window, easily large enough to climb through. Three stories is a large fall, but maybe not for a Vampire? she wonders.

She looks back at the thrall. I can't leave her, here Jessica thinks guiltily. She goes back into the dresser and fishes out another outfit. "Put this on" Jessica commands, and thrall changes out of the robe and into the pants and shirt Jessica handed to her.

Jessica goes to the window, and tries opening it. Locked, of course Jessica chuckles. She picks up a chair from the desk, thinks, and then throws it through the window. Glass shatters in all directions, covering the floor. Shit, there is no way that they didn't hear that Jessica thinks, I need to move fast.

Jessica picks up the thrall over her shoulder, and jumps out the window. She lands painfully on the paving stones below. Well I guess we aren't as strong as I thought, Jessica laughs.

Jessica runs down the long driveway, the thrall over her shoulders. She runs off into the dark night, tears in her eyes, toward an uncertain future. She doesn't know where she is going, but she knows why. She can't stay another minute with Elizabeth and her sadistic brood.

Jessica doesn't look back, not once.
