Jess steps up

"Are we sure this is a good idea, Ken?"

Jess Jordan and Kendall Roy were stood in one of the many rooms of Kendall's spacious apartment. While the rest of the dwelling was a hive of activity and Kendall's campaign against his father ramped up, an awkward silence pervaded the room, as Jess came to terms with what her boss was suggesting.

"Why-why would it not be?" Kendall asked. "I'm doing all this pro-woman, feminism commentary; this is such an easy win for female empowerment."

"I know, but...why me?" Jess avoided making eye contact and started to blush.

"Promote from within, Jess!" Kendall replied, enthusiastically. "What sort of feminist would I be if I didn't empower my own employees?"

As he turned to leave, Jess grabbed his sleeve.

"Look, Kendall, I really don't want to do this..."

"Come on, Jess, don't bail on me now, everyone's already waiting for you."

Squirming, Jess desperately tried to think of another way out. If only her phone would ring and she could dash off to do something more pressing. But her cell remained silent.

"Fine, I'll do it."

"You're the best, Jess," Kendall smiled. "You can leave your stuff in here."

Once she was alone, Jess buried her face in her hands and muffled a despairing wail.

Jess started to remove her clothes.

This was actually happening.

She was about to participate in a nude photo shoot.
