Chapter 4 by Gatsha Gatsha

What defender will meet the hero and/or the villain?

Jervale meets the fleeing villain first. (Anything goes)

Fishfreak had made it through the portal first, together with a small school of sea life, ranging from creatures as small as mollusks to no larger than a snapping turtle. Nonetheless, there were enough of them for her purposes. What she needed was not a pack of random fish nor a creatively configured combat form, but simply something that was easy to maneuver in. As such, all of her servants jammed together, swirling as if in a blender until her blue flesh was formed again. It was a sloppy transformation, returning her original voluptuous humanoid form while clothing her in a wrap of seaweed, but it would get the job done.

What she needed to do now was find a place to hide from Gaia Daughter. She didn't think her luck was so good as to have managed a clean break from her. As if on cue, she ran out of portal dimension, finding herself deposited into a lush forest. "Gah! LAND." Immediately, the creature pressed her face to the ground and lifted her butt into the air, her tongue wagging on the forest floor as she gulped up all the moisture she could. She could follow the moisture content of the air and tell when she was getting closer to a large body of water... Indeed, there was definitely a tremendous body of water to be found. "Mmmm... I can FEEL SEA LIFE. That ocean is TEEMING with UNintelligent LIFE for me to form NEW MINIONS, minions who can beCOME my BODY. Why... with that much life... I can DEFinITEly grow STRONG enough to END HERRR."

She scrambled through the forest on all fours, her mouth wet with both the moisture she lapped from the forest floor and air and the saliva pouring from her hungry jaw. Finally, the forest began to clear... there was bright sunlight... and then, a beach!

And then... a creature? A human? It didn't feel quite right.

Jervale, the demon butler, let out a sigh, remaining seated on a towel spread on the beach as he narrowly opened his eyes to observe the creature that was stalking him directly. "Oh, for pity's sake. Is this one even something I could conceivably fuck? I don't even know if I want to stick it in this..." He thought this to himself, retaining at least that bit of courtesy for his new guest. "You. What are you supposed to be?"

"You can call me FISHFREAK, land-crawLER," the fishy-smelling beast replied, its grin growing even more wet as its saliva production picked up. "You NEED not introDUCE yourSELF. I will simpLY call YOU my MEAL!"

"Uh huh... Fishfreak. What a lovely name," the man spoke, not looking overly concerned about being told he was going to become a meal. This creature didn't inspire anything in him but disgust. Still... it was so rare he managed to be the first to greet a visitor. In an effort to find the spark of creativity he desired, he had promised himself he wouldn't simply turn everything that showed up that he didn't want to deal with into a pebble and kick it into the ocean. Instead... "Ms. Fishfreak, tell me a little bit about yourself. I don't suppose you have any hobbies, but perhaps some special abilities?"

"My SpeCIAL abiLIty? Gaha.. Gahahaahaha UWarl Warl WARL," the visitor barked like a seal in amusement. "BeFORE I FEAST on your MEAT and SKIN, allow me to SHOW you. Your FEAR will make most EXcelLENT SEAsonING! Guhohoho!!"

Fishfreak rose to her feet, holding her arms at her side as she walked towards the water. She strode past her prey, rotating the yellow orbs inside her jelly-filled head to keep her hungry eyes on her prey. Finally, she issued a cry like several animals at once.

Immediately, Jervale could see with his mind's eye the ocean of the blue planet responding to her call, as all manner of demonic sea life leapt from the sea to present itself to her. She cackled madly as they began encircling her form and wrapping into her arms first, then her torso, eventually covering her grinning face. Before any had even reached her lower body, her upper body had begun to resemble an exaggerated version of her previous stature, already two stories tall. She towered over Jervale, cackling as she blocked out the sun. "MY SPECial ABIlity is EVERY ABiliTY of your STRANGE, unKNOWable ocEAN. KNOW FEAR, MORTAL. SHOW IT TO ME. LET ME TASTE IT, GUHaHaHAAAA!!"

"Huh... Gross," Jervale said with a grimace pulling down the corners of his mouth as he wrinkled his nose. "On the other hand, even though you're mostly fish, you are quite a lot of woman, aren't you? I'll give you this much: you're the biggest guest I can remember having. Don't get giants here often... Maybe it's a rare opportunity?" The demon crossed his arms and smiled at the tremendous mass blocking out the sun, which kept on growing and growing. "Yes... now that I think of it, there's another thing I don't recall ever greeting on this island before! Today we might have just the right guest for it... Hehehaha...!"

Eventually, he coughed, realizing Fishfreak was growing so huge she'd soon rival the many-floored tower in height. "Ahem. That's quite enough, thanks." The demon calmly snapped his fingers as the sea monster's claws began to close in on him.

Will Jervale survive this monster's wrath?
