Description:
Jenny is a 5ft8 fair-skinned Fox Beastkind with blond hair. She has fox ears and tail in a pale red-brown/creamy color combination. She likes to wear layered tunics in all shades of blue with red-brownish trimming. She relishes accessorizing it with leather bracers, thigh-high stockings and mid-high elegant though sturdy shoes in matching shades. She has a quick mind though her blue eyes and pale pink lips give her a mischievous look.

Biography:

Jenny grew up in the windy highlands off Hillbo-on-High in the Wuthering Peaks mountains. The tiny village was a place where people didn’t much care who you are or where you came from as long as you pitched in and didn’t make a nuisance of yourself.

Even as a little toddler, Jenny was to be found outside even in the most violent winds, and lo-and-behold even the strongest gale wasn’t able to move a hair of her out of place. As matter of fact, little Jenny reveled in it. Whenever a wind met Jenny it looked like an old acquaintance saying a friendly "hi" to her and gently playing with her hair and clothing. As Jenny grew up she became more acquainted with the lay of the land and she contemplated becoming a guide. It wouldn’t be the first time she guided people, animals or both through gale-**** winds to a safe haven.

As the day of her awakening neared, she wondered if she would maybe get a [Tracking] skill, because people told stories about how the Goddess reinforces what they have been using before their awakening. But then again, there were also enough stories of people who got something they totally didn’t expect. Whatever may be, she could always become a guide for the Wuthering Peaks guiding people to and from the city below. Wuthering Gate itself was situated at the base of the mountain range and was the city where anything and everything that went up or down the mountain had to pass.

When the time came for Jenny to go to Riledo for the awaking ceremony she made her way down the mountains to Wuthering Gate. There she joined a caravan with other would-be adventurers and other people from the region heading for the capital.

When she arrived at Riledo she met two other Beastkind. Because it clicked between them, they decided to stick together for the awakening ceremony. As a matter of fact, they still do to this day. The cat boy introduced himself as Tom and the rat girl as Mariko. Apparently, Tom was from the larger Riledo region. She was glad she met someone who was more familiar with the big city of Riledo ‘cause the capital was quite overwhelming for someone who grew up in a little village somewhere up the mountain.

After the awakening ceremony had run its course, Jenny came out as C rank Cleric with Air affinity. The Queen’s Councillor had told her she also got a rare skill named [Friendly Winds]. Its description matches perfectly with what happened during her youth. When all 3 of them had their awakening, they decided to leave the entrance and the swarm of recruiters behind to discuss their results. But just before they left the grounds of the awakening site behind, they were intercepted by a Mouse Beastkind who seemed to come out of nowhere. She introduced herself as the head of the Kedamono’s Brigade and was recruiting. She talked with them for some time and presented her guild as one where they would already have a home, if they wanted.

While discussing this latest event, they eventually ended up at the doorstep of a pub called “Inn the belly of the Beast”. The pub seemed to be patronized by Beastkind as well as humans. There they met a member of the Gryphon Knights who, over a drink, let them know that in his opinion the Kedamono’s Brigade was probably the best choice for a group of novice Beastkind adventurers like them. Their guild hall was also just down the road.

After signing up, Jenny got her own personalized red dagger and thus officially became a guild member of the Kedamono’s Brigade.

As it turned out she was very adept at healing and her larger-than-average mana reserve even allowed her to perform group healing spells. Just as well because Tom liked to experiment with spells. Especially when he toyed with Fire magic … well, let's just say Jenny proved handy to be around. She caught him once carrying fire-proof gloves … just to be on the safe side … she guessed.

With Tom's guidance, Jenny also learned Air Bolt. Later on, Mimizu told her that the Water Bolt worked better for her. With a lower-than-average mana reserve, even the common Ball of Water taxes Mimizu's mana reserve, leaving less for healing. It does make her realize how much she relies on her magic. Maybe she should try to rely a little less on magic, after all Mimizu has become quite an accomplished healer despite her smaller mana reserve.

Ever since that day, Jenny is regularly seen accompanying Mimizu. Besides, helping Mimizu gather plants and herbs for her potions is an easy pretext to leave the city. Because if there is one thing she wouldn’t miss about the city is its confinedness or rather she misses the openness of the highlands.

Skills:
Skill 1: Friendly winds – Jenny cannot be harmed by air. All powerful air currents are reduced to a gentle breeze.
Skill 2: Mana reserve - Jenny has a larger-than-usual mana reserve

Magic 1: Healing
Heal – Jenny causes target’s body to heal faster than usual
Replenish stamina – Jenny causes target to become rested and energized
Healing grounds – Caster gathers persons around him/her and meditates to perform a group Heal (AoE, 30m range)
Resting grounds – Caster gathers persons around him/her and meditates to perform a group Replenish Stamina (AoE, 30m range)

Magic 2: Air
Air vortex – Caster creates a self-contained vortex in the air that grows as more mana is put into it. However as the vortex becomes bigger it becomes increasingly difficult to keep it under control. (Can be thrown)
Air bolt – Caster creates a small self-contained vortex in the air. This spell is a fixed-size spell with a minimal mana need and thus little casting time. (Kedamono brigade exclusive spell)
Gale – Caster causes a powerful air current to appear from her palm (a more powerful version of gust). If used in both hands it can be used to make the caster lift from the ground.
