Jason sat with his feet up thinking about the app invite in front of him. Jason copied the address and went to another browser and brought up the “Internet Security Agency” scam tracker page and put in the website… The report came back clean, no mind control tricks, no connections to any of the terror networks like Cobra, SKAR, or Red Shadows… Interestingly the IP address came back to the place at the end of the street, Mister Billing’s house. Jason had mowed Mister Billing’s lawn for a few extra bucks when he first moved into this place, back when he had to split the rent with a buddy from college. While Mister Billings had died a few days ago, Jason remembered that at the start of the year, he had met younger women and had a few girl friends around his place most of the time. Jason thought about it again… he got new girlfriends after he mentioned that his grand-kids gave him a new tablet. Was this how? Jason went to the window that look out at Mister Billings place and one of the girl friends was standing outside holding the tablet. She smiled and waved toward Jason’s place and then tucked the tablet under her arm and walked back inside…

“What the hell?” Jason muttered, “Do they want me to use this now?”

Jason went back to the lounge chair and sat down… With that mystery seemingly solved, he hit download and then stood up. Nature called. Jason stopped and looked at himself in the mirror as he went in. He was only about five foot six, and a skinny lanky guy. His German great grandfather’s blonde hair contrasted with his mother’s Hispanic dark skin and that was offset by his paternal grand mother’s Irish freckles.

“Just a scrawny North American Mutt,” Jason muttered as he raise the lid to the toilet and relieved himself, “Does this mean Mister Billings shared those beer night conversations with his girlfriends?”

An emergency alert from the TV caused Jason to look around and cause him to make a wet mess all over the floor.

“Fuck!” Jason snapped.

Jason finished and then went to the TV, there was another shot of the news anchors recapping the emergency alert.

“Again, Police and State officials are asking the public to stay away from the Rover Canyon Manufacturing plant at this time, they are in the process of dealing with a Cobra raid,” the New Anchor announced, “People are asked to stay off the phone unless need in the area around the Rover Canyon Manufacturing plant for the rest of the day.”

Jason’s phone started ringing. Jason went over and answered.

“Jason Muller speaking,” Jason tried to sound professional since it was his boss, “Yes Miss Caroline, I was getting ready for work with the TV on and the news came on… Yes, it about scared the… well it caught me off guard. Yes, I was about to say that Miss Caroline. I agree, probably best to leave all that to the pros… Are we still getting paid for today? Right, well it’s better than nothing. I will see you tomorrow.”

Jason sighed as he hung up the door, the office was closed because it was right next door to the warzone. At least the government insurance program would get him half pay, and half pay was better than nothing… but at least he got the afternoon off to check out this Harem dating app…
