It starts off as the User is having one of their normal average days. Until a notice on the user’s smart phone tells them that they have the chance to download the app. And that message makes some bold claims.

“Congratulations, you have been selected to get the Harem App. The App allows you to make any man or woman, real or fiction a willing and loyal member of your personal harem. Modify them to your hearts content, have different versions of the same person side by side with you… In Bed!

The user looked up from their phone. Yeah this was too good to be true… Looking around, the user saw the news playing in the background. The user was in their room, alone at the moment. Memories of an old Windows Widget that put “Dancers on your desktop” came to the surface. Of course this was a scam no matter how it worked, the User figured, if it wasn’t a virus it would be a “Free to play, pay to win” game model with some sort of means of “Earning credits in game” to keep the FCC off their backs.

Who is the User? Are they a normal person in “The real world?” Are they a normal person in a fantastic world or a fiction universe? Is the news talking about Batman and the Avengers entertainment or headline news?

The user looked at the screen shots in the email. There was a photo-real version of Disney’s Elsa the Snow Queen in some pinup lingerie, a screenshots of an editing menu, something called the “Sexypoint awards board” and of a character search menu. As the User looks up at the news, they decide to try the app.
