Marissa opened the door to see the bald bouncer standing there grim-faced.

"Yes?" she asked with an innocent smile.

"I thought I heard a noise," the burly bouncer said, trying to look past Marlissa, who was a couple of inches taller than him even without her heels on.

"Oh, that was just me," she replied with her green eyes glowing subtlety. "Is there anything else?"

"You have five more minutes," he grunted before walking back to his post.

Closing the door behind her, Marlissa walked back to the couch where Ryan and Connie were still kissing.
