Intrusion

Pulling and tugging with all her might was no use, the blasted collar wouldn't budge, locked firmly into place around the auburn haired girl's pale slender neck. Lucy was beginning to feel anxious and extremely angry at Max, how could he do this to her, she thought. If this was some kind of sick joke she wasn't into it, they had experimented in the bedroom from time to time, but this was going too far. With the health and safety officer lady continually banging on her bedroom door, Lucy had **** but open it and see what she wanted. Quickly looking around for something, anything else to cover herself, she couldn't see a single decent piece of clothing apart from old and dirty socks. Kim must've taken out the laundry, it was her turn to do it after all. "Damn Kim, why did she have to take the whole lot?!" A quick look into her drawers confirmed that she actually had nothing else to wear, not even the clothes she had on the night before.

A post-it note caught the young zoologist student's eye, it was a note from Kim.

Had to leave early to get to the library, tried to wake you but you must've had a fun night ;)

Taken the laundry with me, I know you have the day off so thought it best to get it all done at once.

Will be back after my doctor's appointment tonight :)

"Damn it Kim! Why would she leave me absolutely nothing to wear!" Between what Kim and Max had done, Lucy was fuming. How could they've been so stupid?

Steeling herself from the embarrassment and blushing fire engine red, Lucy reached out and unlocked her bedroom door. The health and safety lady took Lucy by surprise, letting herself right in as soon as Lucy got the door halfway open pushing her out of the way in the process. She stood, in the middle of the dorm room looking around from floor to ceiling.

"I've been knocking for five minutes out here! Lucy Carpenter?"

Lucy stood, half asleep, disheveled hair in her face and clad only in her boyfriend's old basketball jersey, staring in utter disbelief at this rude woman.

"Y-yes, I'm Lucy Carpenter who are you? What do you want?"

"Health and safety officer, I'm afraid we've been alerted to an infestation in this area."

"Infestation? W-what do you mean!?"

"Well miss, it's quite hard to explain, it's something we haven't seen before. Some kind of species of insects suspected to have been brought in by exotic animals. Potentially unsafe to people, we can't take any chances in this matter, I hope you'll understand. This whole room will need to be quarantined and searched."

Lucy was aghast, turned pale white. Even more so than her naturally fair complexion.

"W-what do you mean? When will this have to happen?"

"Oh, immediately I'm afraid miss. This matter is of urgent importance to the safety of yourself and other students here."

"Immediately!?!?"
