Introducing...

Bringing "Little Lady" inside she'd remained stuck, desperately clinging onto David... Until he'd shown her the pizza.

At first she'd looked skeptical of the room temperature slice he'd offered her. But she'd refused to let go of him long enough for him to make her something so he'd held it for her and then showed her by taking a bite for himself. She slowly sniffed it and tentatively took a bite at his coaxing... and her eyes had gone wide before grabbing the rest of the slice and quickly devoured it.

Having finally been released from her clutches he tried to explain she could have more, that he could even reheat it for her, but he'd made the mistake of showing her rest of the pizza in the box. She dove upon it in a feeding frenzy that reminded him of a shark. "Alrighty then... we like pizza. Noted." He was worried what her reaction would be when he tried to take the empty box away from her when she started gnawing at it but the fierce little lady surprised him, with docile and shy acquiescence. She even let him tenderly clean her face with a napkin.

"There. That's better," he said as continued, licking the napkin and cleaning her face of grime after wiping her lips. He saw her blushing and he'd been right before. It spread all the way to her ears.

He went to step away but she'd grabbed his hand.

"What is it?" He asked stopping where he was. She tugged at the napkin. "You want this? Okay. I can get you a clean one-" He looked towards the kitchen but she firmly held on his arm, gently pulling. He nodded and let her have total control and knelt down as she tugged. She pulled the napkin from his hand and then holding his arm turned it to look at the bite she had given him. "Don't you worry about that," he told her but she sniffed it, then began licking the wound then dabbing at it with napkin. She kept giving him contrite glances her ears drooping, mumbling. "Sa- Saw... Ee... Saw Ee... Saw-Ee."

Dave blinked. "Saw Ee? Sorry? Are you trying to say you are "Sorry"?"

She looked at him and nodded as she continued her tending. "S-Saw-ree... Sorry."

He smiled at her and brushed her hair gently behind her ear. "That's okay, little Lady. You're sweet." She shivered but leaned into his hand like she was enjoying it so he kept stroking her hair. She even smiled a little, shyly. "Cute...," he whispered looking at her adorable green face. Then cleared his throat realizing that he had said that aloud. He also realized something else. "You can talk... forget "little Lady"! You can tell me your name! My name is David Stark but my friends call me Dave. Can you tell me your name?" He saw her staring at him. "Or maybe you can't much in my language? Hmmmm... what to do? What- what are you doing? Oh no you don't have to-"

She'd let go of him after inspecting her cleaning of his wound and finding it satisfactory. She grabbed her rags and after inspecting them she started to tear a long piece off. Then used it to bind the napkin in place as he tried not to stare at the revealing slit it made showing a small but very shapely leg all the way to her hip. "S-Sorry... gud?"

He smiled and nodded. "Good?"

She did the same. "Good," she repeated. She gently touched the bandage. "B-Bad...Sorry good." She placed her hand on her chest over where the rags concealed a more than ample bosom for her small frame. "Kea bad. Kea s-sorry" she said sadly then took his hand in both of hers and placed it on top of her chest. He could feel her heart beating. She patted his hand looking up at him. "G-Good? Kea good goblin?"

He resolved to clean the wound properly later but the gesture from the little goblin was very heartfelt and sweet. He nodded as he caught on. "Keah? Your name is Key-ah? Kea?" He saw her eyes light up and she nodded. He smiled and nodded. "And Kea is a goblin? Yes. Kea is a good goblin. I see that."

Kea smiled as he took her hand and placed it on his chest over his heart. "Dave," he said patting her hand and repeating."Dave."

Her smile grew wider. "D-Da...Da hey... ve.... D'hayv!"

Dave smiled and nodded. "Close enough."

She nodded too rubbing his chest. "D'hayv... D'hayv good. Good hoo-man! D'hayv good-good!" She nodded and grinned. "D'hayv-Kea good?"

He blinked then smiled and nodded his understanding and agreement. "Kea and Dave together is good."

Kea smiled but shook her head. "D-D'hayv-Kea ess good-good."

He laughed and nodded. "Better than good, yes? I agree. Kea-Dave," he tapped his hand over her heart then patted her hand over his. "Together. Good-good." He put her hand on the bandage. "Good-good Always."

She tilted her head and blinked. "Awl wayz?"

He thought. "Hmmmm... how best to explain we have an eternal mark of friendship... ah! I know."
